Chillagoe Uranium Qld
In late 2007, Anchor announced the acquisition of an unlisted company, Andromeda Ventures Limited (“Andromeda”).
Andromeda (now Andromeda Ventures Pty Ltd) holds the rights to two granted exploration licences – EPM 15631 – known as the Featherbeds project, and EPM 15987 – known as the Hot Springs project.
Both projects are located adjacent to Anchor’s existing Aspiring (EPM 14752) project (see figure below), near Chillagoe, Queensland. The acquisition of these two strategic properties expands the Company’s uranium portfolio.
This group of projects will be known as the Chillagoe Uranium Projects.
▲ Aspiring EPM14752
▲ Featherbeds EPM15631
▲ Hot Springs EPM15987
- 100% owned by Anchor Resources
- High prospectivity for discovery of economic uranium, based on analogies with Maureen and Ben Lomond (both in Qld), Spor Mountain and Marysvale (USA)
- Several epithermal uranium showings and untested radiometric anomalies
