Aspiring Project EPM 19447 & EPM 25958 (100% Anchor)

The Aspiring project is centred 200km west of Cairns in the Hodgkinson Metallogenic Province of Far North Queensland. Red Dome (0.96 Moz gold, 35,000 tonnes copper and 4.3 Moz silver produced plus a resource of 1.54 Moz gold, 165,000 tonnes copper and 12.5 Moz silver) and Mungana (1.1 Moz gold, 93,000 tonnes copper and 20.95 Moz silver resource) porphyry-skarn deposits show the area can host multi-million ounce gold deposits of the intrusion-related type.

A review of the Aspiring project by consultants in 2014 concluded the area has potential for intrusion-related gold deposits, particularly in the Doolan Creek area, and magmatic related uranium deposits.

Results to date are considered encouraging with more than 9 targets requiring further work to better define each geochemical anomaly (Fig 1). Some of these geochemically anomalous areas were previously unknown prior to the field programs.

The Aspiring project consists of:
EPM 19447 Aspiring – (Granite-related gold-base metals)
EPM 25958 - Walsh River (Granite-related gold-base metals and epithermal gold)
