Blicks (copper-gold)

The Tyringham prospect located at the Blicks Project is interpreted to represent a large reduced intrusion-related gold system – a class of deposit that was not recognised at the time of the initial gold discovery at Tyringham in about 2000.  Deposits of this type include multi-million ounce gold mines such as Fort Knox, Pogo and Donlin Creek (Alaska) and Kidston (Australia). Bielsdown (antimony)

The Bielsdown Project, located 12 kms north of Dorrigo in north-eastern NSW includes the Wild Cattle Creek antimony mine which was discovered in the late 1800's and mined intermittently on a small scale until the most recent mining in the 1970's.  The deposit is hosted by a sub-vertical fault breccia within a sequence of metasediments.  The high grade antimony-rich core of the structure is contained within a cemented (silicified) stibnite rich breccia. Birdwood (copper-gold)

Between 1968 and 1971 Pickands Mather International (PMI) explored part of EL 6459 (Birdwood) and identified an extensive soil copper geochemical anomaly in the headwaters of Maugham’s Creek at Birdwood. Read More...

Thunderbolts / Munga (antimony)

The Thunderbolts Project (EL 7184) is located 40km to the north-northeast of the Hillgrove mine or 95 km west of Coffs Harbour. The old Magword antimony mine is contained within this project. The vein/shear filling stibnite mineralisation was mined historically via underground shafts and adits with high antimony grades being achieved. Reports indicate that production between 1941-1969 was over 3,000t of antimony.  An initial review of the exploration history indicates there has been very little exploration conducted in the area since 1972.
