Mr Wang has extensive experience in the mining and iron-making industry in China. Benefiting from his extensive working and studying both in China and abroad, Mr Wang has gained a unique perspective into the economics and politics of both China and Australia. This expertise has become increasingly critical for advising on and facilitating business negotiations with international counterparties.
Ian Price is a mining engineer with over 35 years experience in mining spanning public company management, mine management, project development and consulting. He has been involved in all aspects of successful mining operations from exploration, feasibility studies, permitting, government and external relations, project development and construction, operations, corporate management and project financing.
He has experience in copper, lead, zinc, tungsten, tin, nickel, iron ore, gold, silver, antimony, molybdenum, phosphate and coal with international experience in open pit and underground mining.
Vaughan has extensive business experience initially in accounting but more recently has spent most of the last 10 years in corporate fianance at a leading Australian stockbrocker focussing on creating, funding and executing strategies for mid to smal cap ASX listed companies. Recently Vaughan gained significant mining experience holding a senior executive position in a listed gold and iron ore focussed mining company. In addition he is currently Chairman of Wentworth Holdings Limited which is listed on the ASX
Sam has over 40 years’ experience in the minerals industry. A qualified geologist he has worked in all states of Australia as well as Canada, Iran, Zambia, Tanzania, Fiji and Malaysia. While most of Sam’s experience has been in mineral exploration he has worked in both underground and open cut mines. He has explored for (or worked on mines producing) gold, copper, tin, uranium. Lead-zinc, silver, tantalum, molybdenum, magnetite and kaolin in a diverse range of geological environments.
Sam is an experienced company director. He founded Michelago resources NL and was its inaugural Managing Director when it was listed on the ASX in 1996. More recently he was Executive-Director Technical and Zamia Gold Mines Limited (now Zamia Metals Limited) where he was responsible for the discovery of the Anthony porphyry molybdenum deposit in central Queensland.
Sam is a former councillor of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (1999 – 2009) and was chairman of VALMIN from 2003 until 2008.
Guy has over 30 years’ of international experience in finance and as a senior executive, this experience includes 16 years in senior roles with the Jardine Matheson Group both in Hong Kong and Australia. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of a number of companies in insurance, property and retail. His experience includes a wide range of international financial and operational positions with multinational companies and ASX listed companies, both in Australia and Internationally. Guy is also experienced in corporate aggregation, IPO, capital raising and acquisition due diligence.
Guy is a Chartered Accountant who holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Honours and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Guy is currently a Director of Metal Bank Limited and Artemis Resources Limited.
Guy was appointed to the role of Company Secretary of Anchor Resources Limited on 24 January 2012.
Graeme is a successful geologist with over 40 years continuous experience in mineral exploration, evaluation and mining development of precious and base metal deposits throughout Australia and international experience in Canada, Chile, Mexico, New Caledonia, New Zealand and the United States of America. He has extensive experience in a wide variety of deposit models and ore types, including most types of gold deposits plus copper, base metal, tin and antimony deposits within a diverse range of geological terranes ranging in age from Archaean to Tertiary.
Graeme has played a key role and has led teams in the development of many projects ranging from the generation, discovery, delineation and expansion of a number of mineral deposits throughout Australia and in Mexico. Amongst these deposits are the Fortnum gold mine in Western Australia where he was the generative geologist and the Cerro del Gallo gold-silver deposit in Mexico where he was project manager. This project was awarded “Mining Project of the Year” by the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) in May 2007.
Graeme was awarded the Joe Fisher Medal for Excellence in Mining in 1996 by the Darwin Branch of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy for his work on establishing the controls on gold mineralisation at the Rustler’s Roost gold mine in the Northern Territory.
Graeme has worked for Anchor Resources Limited since 2009 and was appointed Exploration Manager on 22 March 2011.
